The light peeped in from the hole,
In the shape of time.
The time we had and the one we lost.
It was no more than a ticking clock.
Thee said, “Time is eternal”,
How come life be then mortal?
For mortality seeks revenge
On the plodding needle
That once passed without any accusations.
For all that had breathed,
The time will soon be up.
I’ve seen forests grow,
Seen them bloom and prosper,
However rejection must come to us all.
And I have seen them wilt and die,
Being crumpled and stamped upon.
Surely with time shall come glory and catastrophe.
The skies we saw were once azure,
But now is the time for the crimson oath.
And now is the time for us to rise,
Rise from land maybe,
But at will from our shackles at last.
And we shall continue to rise
Till we reach the astral plains.
Alas we’re free from agony
For our time is up,
No doubt, it had already ended a long time ago.
